Spring Cleaning!

Last year I did a few post on Spring Cleaning. Since it's that time of year again (can you believe?) I thought I'd repost them.

So turn off your heat (or at least turn it down), crank up the music, throw open the windows and get a-scrubbin'!!!

Looks like I didn't do a bedroom cleaning post yet, (bad, bad me). If I get a chance I'll type one up, but it's the same basics as the others. :

• Dust, be sure to move all the little items to do so
  
• Wash your sheets and comfortable and any blankets and the mattress pad. Flip your mattress. I know you can actually flip most these days, but you can still rotate them head to feet
• Clean your windows, windowsills and window treatments
• Empty your dresser and nightstand drawers and wipe them down. Before you put the clothes back in, make sure they fit and you actually wear them. If not, toss them in a donate pile
• Clean your closet, top to bottom, removing everything, wiping it down, and sorting through items and clothes to donate or trash. If you have kids, now's the time to sort through toys too.
  
• Wipe down your bases boards and clean the floor. Make sure you move EVERYTHING! Clean under the bed, under dressers, etc.

If you have a garage or storage shed, now's the time to tackle that too! Don't forget the basement!
