Spring Cleaning Part 2 (The Dining Room)

I am tackling Spring Cleaning one room at a time, in hopes to have a totally clean home by the end of March!

If you missed the first part on the bathroom you can check it out here.

The Dining Room

Just like we did for the bathroom, the first thing you want to do is make sure everything is put away in it's proper place. The last thing you want to do is moving items out of your way while you are on a cleaning rampage! Gather up all your supplies and get started!

1. Dust. Yes, this is first again, and will continue to be. You don't want to clean something only to have the dust from the corner of the ceiling fall and have to re-clean! Dust the ceiling, corners, baseboards, any furniture, and any wall art.

2. Clean the lights and fans. Pretty simple, huh?

3. Windows. Again, like the bathroom, until you are doing all the drapery together. Dust down the blinds, wash the window sills, and both inside and out of the window and the screens.

4. Wash down the furniture. Shine the table and chairs, and any hutches, or other furniture that you may have. If you have the time, now's the time to go through and clean out any drawers and cabinets that may need it too. Also, if your chairs are upholstered, spot clean them as needed.

5. Clean the floor. Whether you have hardwood that needs to be polished, or carpet and rugs that need spot cleaning.

6. Check a second room off your cleaning list.
