First Week of December

If this week is any indication of the rest of the year, it's going to be 2010 before I finish typing this! Okay, not really, but it sure feels like it. This week has f.l.o.w.n. by.

I was able to workout with Jillian twice this week so far...yay! It may be mental, but I can see a change already. It's also a great way to keep the heat off a little longer. I come home and it's chilly, and before I'm finished the workout I'm sweating.

I also made another payment on my student loans today, lowering it to just over $500!!! I should be able to make the final payment the week of Christmas! What a great present to ourselves, being debt free!

We have our first Christmas party this Saturday! Yay! That means I get to bake a batch of cookies tonight for it. I'm going to make pizzelles. So yummy! Plus, it's our town's tree light/parade tonight. Can't wait! I love the holidays!!! Our town does a lot festive activies all year round, and it's so much fun seeing the whole community (well, not the whole community, but a lot) come out and play.

I checked two new books out of the library, so I'm curious to see if they are any good. I've been reading a lot of finance books, and need some fun reads. I've been reading some of James Patterson, but his books can be a little too graphic for my liking. I absolutely love Karen Kingsbury, but I've read almost all of her books, so if you have any suggestions on good authors let me know!

Have a great weekend!!!

What about Jane Green or Sophia Kinsella? Chick lit at it's best! :) Have a good weekend!

Try Ted Dekker. Some of his stuff is a little gruesome, but he is a Christian author. What I've read so far is full of suspense.

I don't read a lot of suspense, but my mom reads some, and I know she likes James Lee Burke. I don't know how it compares graphic-wise, since I've never read your author, but I didn't find the few I read terribly graphic or anything.
