Total spent...$3ish. Hubby had to buy a few ingredients to make me a yummy birthday cake.
Can I just say how proud I am of my hubby? He knows we are in our Limited Spending Month, so he got creative for my birthday. He had some cards left over from notes he would use to write to parents, so he used a cute one for me for my birthday card. In the card was a clue to a scavenger hunt around our place for me to find for my birthday evening. He wrapped up 3 chick flick movies he borrowed from his sister for me to choose to watch, he made a scrumptious dinner and an even better double layer chocolate cake with chocolate mint icing. And he put my favorite game in a gift bag for us to play before dinner. So sweet and thoughtful!
We will be heading up to my parents after work for the weekend for more birthday fun. I'm planning on filling up with gas on my way home, so it won't be all no spending, but it won't be much.
