Total spent...$168 on some chips for a party and a Wii.
That's right folks, we caved and after 10 months of hubby's patience we finally got one. This was NOT a whim purchase either. We have been seriously wanting one for almost a year, but at over $250 new, that just wasn't an option. I did some research and found that they were going for $175.99 used online, plus shipping. Not bad, almost a $75 savings but you don't know what condition it's coming in, or what might happened during shipping. Hubby has been talking to his students about it all year, and one of them mentioned that they wanted to sell theirs so they could buy rock band. Yesterday was his class party and where we could take a look at the Wii and make a decision. We had talked about it and decided that we would be willing to pay $150 since we both have birthdays and our anniversary in the next month and this could be our gift to each other. They agreed to the price, plus we bought a game from them, so for the $165 we got the console and all the connecting cables, plus 2 remotes and 2 num-chucks, and 3 games, Wii sports, Wii Play and Mario Olympics. Pretty sweet deal, huh? We spent like 3 hours playing last night and I felt like I had just finished a workout!
