It seems like a lot of people are putting up their menus on their blogs, so I figured why not give it a try. Hopefully it will force me to plan out our meals a little better. Most time we'll just plan for two or so meals a week and whip up whatever we can with the excess.
I whipped up a delicious crock pot creation last night that we will be delighting in today.
Monday:
-Chicken and veggie stew in the crock pot
We already had the chicken from a few weeks ago, along with the carrots, celery, onions and peas.
We had to purchase the potatoes (3.50 for a 5lb bag), green pepper (.89 ), and broth ($2 with some leftover).
*EDIT* We will get about 6 meals out of it, so it's approximately $1/ meal with excess. Not to bad :-)
Tuesday:
- Pasta and veggies
Wednesday:
- Leftover from Monday and Tuesday
Thursday:
-Spinach lasgna (?)
Friday:
-Taco Soup
