I also picked up a penny on the ground, so I'm counting that in my money earned, because it may only be a cent, it's still a cent I didn't have!
I've been working late, so I haven't had time (or energy) to do anything. I haven't worked out in so long, it's not even funny. Plus, fall has come early here, so it's too chilly to sit by the pool and read. Although today is suppose to be close to 80, so maybe I'll make the time for a little.
Truth is, I've been busy plotting out a project. I have had an idea in my head for months now, and I had to wait until I got a sewing machine for my birthday to put my plan to action. Almost 2 months later and my machine still sat untouched. Until the other night. It has been years and years (okay, honestly, probably since middle school Family Consumer Sciences A.K.A. Home Ec) since I've touched one, so needless to say it wasn't the prettiest sight. My ideas are flowing, and my resources were few, I came across a few snags, but I now have a temporarily finished project! I don't have any pictures because there's still more that I want to do, but I made a functional bag out of a tee shirt! Nothing fancy, no pockets, and I need to add support to the strap, but it's something I created.
First aren't suppose to be perfect and pretty anyways...right?

Congrats on the bag! I used to sew a lot when I was a kid; I sewed lots of Barbie clothes and my mom, a quilter, made most of my clothes. Istarted to dislike sewing and haven't picked it up since. It's a skill I *really* need to re-learn.
every little bit counts! :) jay found a penny walking into church on Sunday, but since they were taking up a collection for the food ministry, God got it right back :P
