Total spent...actually I'm not exactly sure. Hubby grabbed dinner with a friend, and I never got the chance to ask him how much he spent. I know that I spent $8 on lunch. Ouch! I never order out, and they were ordering from this super cute tea cafe. Someone mentioned greek salad and I was hooked. I am such a sucker for them, actually for anything that's Mediterranean. On and up note, hubby and his friend came over to watch some of the game after wards and brought ice cream :-)
Once again, I was a bum and didn't go to the gym. But I was productive and got all the dishes done, and the living room straighten so I didn't have to rush when hubby called to say they were going to watch the game. I am planning on going tonight since hubby has something at school till late. I'm also waiting on a call to pick up a part time job for the next few weeks. I've helped before and it's fun, but it is definitely exhausting. I might have mentioned that I'm off work at 3:30 and can help in the evenings, so we will see.
I'm hoping this weekend to have some time to review our budget for March and work on April's. I have looked at hubby's loan after making the payment on it the other day, and I am very happy at how things are going. If we can keep up what we've been doing it will definitely be paid off before the end of the year! Woohoo!!! I guess it will depends on how interest rates go, because I wasn't planning on aggressively paying down my loan, but now the interest rate on our savings is actually LOWER than what I'm paying. I have watch ING rates drop drastically the past few months, and can't belive it's down to 1.5%...even at the start of this year it was around 2.5%. Oh goodness.

ING dropped too?
and your blog made me remember that i need to write down my lunch purchase - i used cash.
sometimes i get frustrated. we're at $32K on debt (for some land we're wanting to build a house on) plus i want to open a roth ira, and get life insurance for us...
dear hubs, your 14 hour work days @ 6 days a week just isn't enough. please work harder. love, your wife.
Yes, sad enough it is down also.
Some people swear by using cash for everything, but I hate it because it's so easy to forget about. I'd much rather use my debit card and see it on the statement. Glad to help remind you :-)
Don't get frustrated, sit down with Mr. Right and make a plan. List everything you want to do (pay off debt, ira, life insurance, emergency fund, save for kids etc.) Then put them in the order of importance. Review your budget and start attacking one or two of the goals.
Can I just say how jealous I am the you have land to buy a house on? I would love to do that (my parents did it), but there isn't much land around to do so. :-(
Good luck with everything! Send me an email if you want to talk about it more.
Thanks for your comment on my post :) Hope you're having a great weekend. K.
