March 23th Spending

Total spent...$0! Yay!

We came very close to spending, but there is something about being able to say we had a no spend day that makes me not want to spend money. Hubby needed a video to show in his science class, and luckily we had a receipt coupon from the last time we went to Blockbuster for $1.99 for a movie. There was also money left on our gift card, so we didn't have to spend a dime to rent it :-) It's the movie Twister, and I haven't seen it in years and years, so maybe we'll be able to get a movie night out of our 'free' movie :-)

Hubby has been on a super health kick, which I love since I'm a total health nut all the time. So even though Monday is not a gym day he still wanted to go for a walk. Spring may technically be here, but it sure doesn't feel like it! My ears were so frozen by the time we got home my head hurt! Tonight we are going to the gym. My legs are STILL sore from last week, I'm not sure what I did, but my muscles are not liking it.

I didn't post my meal plans for this week because hubby is the one that planned them, and I do not have a clear understand of what we are having. Actually, I'm not sure if he is either since we changed what we were having last night a few times. Lol. Oh well. It's nice not having to worry about dinner for a week. :-)

Thanks for your encouragement. I look forward to reading about your next purge. I've been following your blog since I discovered Over the Cubicle Wall and checked out who he was following. I so admire your no spending days. I guess I do have them, but they are called days when I don't leave the house (I work at home). Once I get in the car and start that engine, I'm almost certain to be headed somewhere where I'll have to break out my wallet. Here's to more no spending days. Good for you!

I didn't make a meal plan this week either. But I like that your hubby made one instead. I'm working on Rambo now and starting dinner. :)

@ Esperanza - yes I know!

@ Popular - Thanks...It is hard when your out not to spend, you're lucky you get to work from home! That must be so nice!

@ Serendipity - It takes time, I'm lucky that my hubby loves to cook, so it's not too hard to get him to help. Good luck with Rambo :-)
