Frugal February Tip #23

Tip #23 - Save money and help someone learn by going to a beauty school for haircuts and such. Okay, so I'll admit that I have never actually gone to a school and had a student cut my hair, but would let my sister do mine while she was in school...so it counts right? You can get a cut, color, perm, whatever for only a fraction of the cost of a salon. It may take a little longer than normal since they are learning, but think about the money you'll save. I have heard of very few horror stories, and if it doesn't turn out exactly how you like it, kindly ask them to fix it. They have instructors there who can help also. Have a formal event?
