Frugal February Tip #10

Tip #10 - If you have to use the dryer skip the dryer sheet. Not only will you save the cost of buying the sheets, but your clothes will dry better. Dryer sheets leave an invisible film in the lint trap, making your dryer work harder. If you use dryer sheets, wash the lint trap with soap and water every so often to keep it clean.
Also, only use half a dryer sheet, so that it last twice as long. Or leave the sheet in the dryer to use more than once.

***Side tip*** Dryer sheets are also great for cleaning pans with burnt on grossness. Fill the pan with water and let a dryer sheet soak in it for half an hour or so, then scrub it clean. Without using a ton of elbow grease. :-)
