CVS deals!

Alright so here's what I spent my $1.97 on at CVS yesterday. Can I just say how excited I am? I have a very addictive personality, and I think playing the "CVS game" is high on my addictive list.

Ok. As always (ok, so I've gone once, but still), they were sold out of what I had planned out, so this is what I got:

• 1-500mL bottle of Listerine $2.99
• 2-4oz tubes of Colgate toothpaste $2.99 each
  
• 2 first aid kits $.99 each
  

I had a coupon for $3 of 2 first aid kits, and they were only $.99, so I was hoping to 'make' $1 on them and only pay $.97 out of pocket (OOP), but alas they only took off the cost of them, so at least they were free :-) I also had 2 coupons for $1.50 off of Colgate. I use my $4 ECB from last week and only had to pay $1.97.

I earned $2.99 in ECB's for the Listerine, and $2 for each toothpaste. Since the toothpaste was from last weeks sale and I had the price adjusted with a rain check, the ECB's printed out separately. So I walked away with an extra $2.99 in ECB's, so I actually in a sense made a dollar on that purchase!

Here's where it gets fun. I took my $2.99 ECB's and purchased another bottle of Listerine, twice. So I ended up with 3 bottles for less than the price of one!!! :-)

Exciting I know. Now we're stocked up on toothpaste and mouthwash for at least a few months. I can't wait for next weeks deals!
