Better late than never, right?
I'm going to make 10 goals to be reached in the year ten. :-) Cheesy? Yes?
1. Increase our savings (house/car) by $15,000. That means we have to stock away $1,250/ month. It's not enough for a down payment on a house, but will be more than to purchase a decent used car and fluff up our house account.
2. Increase our emergency fund to $5,000.
3. Read 35 books. That puts me at approximately 3 a month. Some months will definitely be easier than others.
4. Work out on average 3 times a week. AND...if I go more than a month without going to the gym I WILL cancel my membership.
5. Learn a new a new trade. Whether it be cake decorating, knitting, whatever.
6. De-clutter and organize. Fill 6 bags for Goodwill.
7. Make more of an effort with friends. Pick up the phone at least once a month to call one. No more relying on text, facebook, email etc.
8. Have 125 No Spend Days. It's more fun than necessity.
9. Read the entire New Testament. I don't know how people read the entire Bible in a year. I feel like you would have to rush through, and doesn't that defeat the purpose of reading it, and processing it?
10. Become a momma.
I realize that this is over a week late, but in my defense I had it ready, but we didn't have power on Friday and I didn't feel like turning on my laptop this weekend to post it.

i was going to use my standard "better late than...pregnant" (thank you blanche deverough) but by the looks of #10 that's not the case! :)
these are all totally do able - you're gonna kick rear!
WHAT an exciting year you have ahead of you :)
I'm so excited for you especially #10!
Good luck for the 2010. I'm sure you will do great! And I can't wait to see how number #10 goes!
Great goals!
I think reading the whole New Testament is entirely doable. It's much shorter than the Old!
There's a "read the Bible in 90 days" challenge going on in the blog world right now. I think it's about an hour of Bible reading per day.
They say they want to read it that fast just to get a broad picture of the Bible. Write down questions to look up later, and go through it more in depth later.
Bibles look a lot bigger than they are when they have all those study notes and maps in them.
I think if people can read the entire Harry Potter series in just a short time, certainly the Bible can be done! Hehe.
Good luck with #10! And all of 'em, actually.
Become a momma!!! Aww, how exciting!! :)
you are totally gonna rock it out!
