Total spent...$76. Ouch!
I decided to tag along with hubby to his weekend work instead of sitting home by myself all day. I was able to get a ton of reading done, and work on my tan. :-) His lunch is covered, but I spent $3 on mine. We made our shopping list which we were there, and went straight to Wegman's when he was finished. With no coupons, and stocking up on chicken, nuts and eggs (they were only $.99!) and a few other items we left there with a bill of $52. Actually, it really wasn't that bad considering I wasn't even keeping track of the cost of what went into our cart! So bad, I know.
After we put everything away, ate dinner, and straighten up, we had to run to Blockbuster to rent a video to show to his class. It would have been nice to know ahead of time and we could have rented from the library, but oh well. Well, bad me, when we walked in they had their pre-viewed movies on sale 3 for $20, and the movie hubby was planning on showing his class was one of them. I reasoned with him that if we were going to 'waste' $5 on renting 1 movie that we should spend a little more and own 3! Not sure where my logic came in, but they had a ton of good movies in the selection and it was hard to walk away with only 3. Now we'll have movies for a movie and ice cream night! :-)
