Decluttering - Day 10
I have tons and tons of samples around here, so I gathered them all up so they are in one place. I have enough shampoo and conditioner to last me at least a month! I have them in a cute little container sitting by the shower, so I remember to use them. My goal is to use up the samples before I continue my use of 'normal' sized products. I love freebies but they are kind of pointless if they just sit around taking up precious space!
Another really great thing you can do with sample sizes like that is donate them to a homeless shelter. I know mine passes the hotel size ones out to clients to use when they shower.
I let my kids use the samples especially the shampoos and conditioners. Children's shampoos and conditioner are so overpriced and so I have stopped buying them and let the kids use our products. They don't need a lot so we don't go through them as quickly. The only thing about using the samples is keeping a pair of scissors nearby, I can never open them up!

I use my samples when traveling--it makes for a much lighter load and there's nothing to bring back home.

Keep up the great de-cluttering job!
Thank you! Both of those are great ideas!!! I'm flying in August and those bottles take up so much room and weight.
great idea :) i like using up stuff that's almost empty to just get it out of my hair.
i actually save mine up for vacation - its easier to pack them. i have a closet specifically for my drug store purchases and my samples go there.
