Tasty Tuesday - Pizza Pasta

This is a super simple meal that's easy to whip up and stick in the oven after a busy day. It's high in carbs, but if you change the servings down to 6 and pare it with veggies as a side it won't be quite as bad.

Pizza Pasta
- 4 Servings
  • 2-14.5oz pizza sauce cans
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 cups pasta (twisty)
  • 1/4-1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1. Mix sauce and water in a 8x8 pan
2. Stir in pasta
3. Sprinkle with cheese and cover with foil
4. Bake on 425* for 40-45 minutes.

Do you cook the pasta before putting it in the oven?? (stupid question, I know!)

This would be great with extra add-ins: pepperoni, mushrooms, peppers...yum!

Nope! You just pop the pasta in the sauce and toss it in the oven. Too easy.

I know! Anything that you would top a pizza with would totally work.
