Tip #4- Instead of buying sponges, use tulle to make scrubbies. It works amazingly, and it's cheap. Buy a yard or 2 at the fabric store, and cut it into 8 inch strips or so. Accordion fold it, tie it in the middle and fluff. It will last for months, and you can toss it in the washer to freshen it up. Once it gets to worn out to use for dishes, you can down grade it and you it to clean your bath tub or sink. Much better for the environment (and cheaper) then paper towels.
