January 18th Spending

Total Spent... $68.04. It looks like a lot, but consider we got both groceries and gas, I don't think it's too bad.

After looking at the this weeks flier for our local grocery store, and what we needed (had to stock up on chicken breast and turkey burger), I thought we might actually go over our limit. I was pleasantly surprised when our final bill came to $37.79, with $17 in savings!

Hubby also had to fill up his tank with gas, totally $30.25. Even with the prices rising it's not near as bad as it used to be.

It was a sad day though as our football team lost their chance in the Super Bowl. :-( I feel like we always end up saying "maybe next year". I guess we can't be too greedy considering we won the World Series :-)
