Limited Spending Day 9

Total spent...$0!

After coming off a big spending Saturday we'll need a couple of zero dollar days to catch. If wish I could say that this week will have no expenses, but hubby needs some supplies for his classroom, so we'll be making a trip to Becker's sometime this week. Hopefully that will be it though. We both have enough gas (actually hubby carpools so he's not driving at all this week) and we have enough food.

We realized this weekend that winter is not going to be cheap for us. Last year the apartment we were in had oil heat. So as expensive as it was to fill the tank, we only saw/felt the bill 3 times in the 16 months there. Well, we received our first PECO bill with running the heat a little, and it was a lot higher than we had expected. We probably only had it on for a total of 10-12 days and it was almost $25 higher than we had anticipated.
I guess it's time for us to redo our budget for the winter!

We also received another big bill in the mail...our car insurance! We pay bi-yearly, so it isn't something that we're used to seeing. Luckily we budget it out and will have enough set aside for when it comes due.
